I think there is some confusion over when 2.97 is crashing, as for me it
crashes when even trying to play a song. For instance if I try to open
something from nautilus or drag it into rhythmbox or use import.
I do get the same when opening preferences, but it also crashes just when
trying to play anything, making it totally useless.
The reason I asked about 2.98 is because other distros are shipping working
rhythmbox with G:S:3.6 as far as I can tell, it is part of Gnome 3.6 so I doubt
they'd ship a package that won't function at all. Is there something upstream
we are missing regarding actually playing music?
How long would it take to get the preferences commit pushed?
