It freezes also. I used to use 0.46 and 0.47 on opensuse 11.2 without problem. now neither 0.46 NOR 0.47 work properly. It freezes also if I try to use the XML editor. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.launch inkscape - takes forever... 2. try to open a file, or try to add a layer, or try to use the XML editor... 3.Inkscape is frozen and unresponsive - must be killed...
