--- Comment #8 from Andrew Walpole
the current status is that this extension, and dock, are not tagged as supported in 3.2 by upstream
The comments on the following commit suggest this is actually intentional as there are issues with these two extensions http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell-extensions/commit/?id=00bb650c6c9e50...
Changes have been made to the dock extension which I'm about to patch and test that should get it working, but there's no sign of any fixes for alternate-tab
I can't seem to find exactly what the issues with alternate tab are, so I'm going to try forcing alternate-tab to run on 3.2 and if I find no issues I guess we can consider our moves from there
In reponse to this, Dock kept breaking as GNOME kept changing API names, in 3.1.91 to 3.1.92, etc. So far, no API changes have occurred since the release of the stable branch (3.2). Dock works 100% with GNOME 3.2.1 (with above fix applied) and GNOME 3.2.0, including all features and possible configurations. I've tested. Alternate Tab, so far once the typo fixed is applied, works flawlessly also. ----- I really hope this fix makes it into 12.1 before the final release, as it works flawlessly with GNOME 3.2.1. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
