If I click on the "show advanced options" button, it grows to 275% of the width of the screen. I created a new user : He doesn't have this problem. Comparing all settings, I found this is caused by an entry in "system options", then "cups server" : in server information, the field "Host" has the value "localhost". The new user has "/var/run/cups/cups.sock" in this field. After having replaced "localhost" with "/var/run/cups/cups.sock", the display problem is fixed.
