I have read that on the net. I haven't be able to use AIGLX on my Suse 10.2 with my ati mobility M22. XGL works fine however. Seems that the open driver radeon works with AIGLX but there is no 3D support for my video card :-(. I will wait until January and the next release of the ati drivers to see that and maybe open a bug on there side about AIGLX support with fglrx. The interesting part of the output is: configure.in:106: AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR must be called before AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE... configure.in:4: ... AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE called here The failure is inside some win32 code that could be removed. But I'd suggest to just remove the autoreconf call for now. Upstream seems to use a really old automake version, as running just automake instead of autoreconf shows: configure.in:4: version mismatch. This is Automake 1.9.6, configure.in:4: but the definition used by this AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE configure.in:4: comes from Automake 1.7.9. The installation works with no problem. But after installing and applying the actual patches, DHCP does no longer work with the onboard network adapter. As far as I could say this in the moment, the board does no longer send dhcp-requests. In this state: - Our network manager told me, the machie is completely invisible in the switch. - Setting up the network interface manually also does nort work - Starting - either the parallel installed windows - or a knoppix from cd, both using DHCP - works with no problem. - clearing cmos ram, loading BIOS-defaults, setting the needed bios values solves the problem until the next time.
