The option has been disabled multiple times, each time with the same reasoning ("nobody needs this any more") and each time with the same result: getting reenabled within a week or two because it turns out it does actually break something. Are you really sure that this time it is for real and we are not going to repeat the same dance again? Leap 15.6 is up-to-date. Current kernel release is 6.4.0-150600.23.30-default. My machine is a Lenovo Thinkpad E16 Gen 2 (model 21M5) laptop with an AMD Rembrandt Radeon High Definition Audio card. The built in digital microphone was previously not working, but was fixed by the fix for Bug 1228269. However it stopped working on 14Dec2024, and is not working now. By booting from read-only snapshots, I suspect that a System Update which updated the kernel from 6.4.0-150600.23.25-default to 6.4.0-150600.23.30-default stopped it working. I suspect it may have been SUSE-SU-2024:4318-1, but I have not found a good way of relating system updates to the timestamp of snapshots taken. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
