Neither is buildable with GCC 14 as-is. This indicates that there is an instance of a new error in GCC 14 (which previously was just a warning). I was brushed aside (which is not a solution, of course), then moved from systemd to GNOME, and years later it was reopened. Is there a solution now? Do we now have a systemd default configuration that avoids this problem? Was there any move to at least increase the restart interval for systemd services that keep failing? This results in an annoying volume difference between the left and right headset channels where one plays normally and the other is really quiet. This morning, I could not even turn the "balance" feature off in KDE audio settings. When I unchecked the "Balance" button, it would appear to turn off but the channel volume did not equalize as it normally would. When I switched away to another settings panel and then returned to audio settings, "Balance" button would be checked again. I foolishly thought it was a good idea to make myself the default assignee for every category of that Aeon product. In a Tumbleweed-land where users are expected to mix & match what components are on their system, yes But on Aeon there's an expectation that I ONLY ship stuff that I support.
