In yast-update/src/modules/RootPart.rb, Line 41 in b3e78e0 there is: NORECOVERY_FS = [:btrfs, :ext3, :ext4, :xfs].freeze norecovery was deprecated in torvalds/linux@74ef001 (5.9) and finally removed in torvalds/linux@a1912f7 (6.8). Due to that, btrfs cannot be probed by yast now: btrfs: Unknown parameter norecovery It used to warn between 5.9 and 6.8: 'nologreplay' is deprecated, use 'rescue=nologreplay' instead Yast should adopt, but I don't know how to do it in a generic way... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

In my case, there is first this issue https://github.com/openSUSE/agama/issues/1050 (No network -> No repos), but later, when repos are initialized and you go to the Software section, there are two patters to choose from [ ] GNOME Desktop [ ] KDE Desktop You will get an error message described at https://github.com/openSUSE/agama/issues/1084 The actual problem is this: the to be installed pattern:microos_kde_desktop-5.0-85.1.x86_64 requires 'patterns-microos-desktop-kde', but this requirement cannot be provided Solution 1: do not install pattern:microos_kde_desktop-5.0-85.1.x86_64 Solution 2: do not install pattern:microos_gnome_desktop-5.0-85.1.x86_64 (which sounds rather weird BTW) The point is, that either the repo consistency is broken, or the pattern itself is broken, or...? What is this bugreport good for? 1. If it's a consistency issue, fix it 2. If it's an Agama Live CD issue (probably not, but maybe list of patterns?), fix it 3. I have to e.g. when disconnecting HDMI, manually go into Plasma sound settings, show inactive devices, and switch profiles to Analog Stereo Output. To be clear – audio works both with laptop speakers and with HDMI, I just have to manually switch profiles. This is very annoying. Things I’ve tried: Reinstalling pavucontrol, pipewire-pulseaudio, wireplumber Removing ~/.local/state/wireplumber pactl load-module module-switch-on-connect Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed-Slowroll 20240405 KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.0.0 Qt Version: 6.6.3 Kernel Version: 6.8.4-rc1-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × Intel® Core™ i7-10710U CPU @ 1.10GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. Product Name: Prestige 15 A10SC System Version: REV:1.0 This also happens under the latest 20240409 Tumbleweed KDE Live image. However, reverting my actual install to a previous snapshot restores my laptop’s ability to automatically switch between internal speakers and external display (HDMI) audio. ----Working configuration---- Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed-Slowroll 20240213 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.10 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.115.0 Qt Version: 5.15.12 Kernel Version: 6.8.1-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 12 × Intel® Core™ i7-10710U CPU @ 1.10GHz Memory: 15.5 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: Mesa Intel® UHD Graphics Manufacturer: Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. This causes steam to render itself only on the non-default gpu, which will always be the one not currently in use. Looking at the issues concerning this on the steam github repository, this line was intended to make systems always use a discrete gpu if available. However if you're currently already using video out from your discrete gpu, this will make it render only on the igpu (not desired behavior). Removing this line from the .desktop will make steam render on whichever gpu is currently in use, with games still defaulting to the dedicated gpu if available (desired behavior).
