The grub boot menu does work. After some kernel output, the black screen from the screenshot appears. The operation "Loading basic drivers" takes a minute or two, but after "Hardware detection" nothing happens any more. The system seems stuck but the cursor blinks irregularly. OpenSUSE Tumbleweed is not affected. Used the installer from https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:AArch64 (which still shows the older 15.5 version as default) Tried installing from the following ISO files: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.5/iso/openSUSE-Leap-15.5-… http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/15.6/iso/openSUSE-Leap-15.6-… I also tried to use a file system image but was unable to connect to the network using the virtual network adapter which seems like the hardware, which is maybe blocking the hardware detection. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I can't seem to reproduce the make error I was seeing but I do remember testing the change from ALIAS_FILE = $(shell find $(ETC)aliases.d/ -type f) to ALIAS_FILE = $(shell find $(ETC)aliases.d/ -type d) back and forth several times, making sure the make failure followed the type of the file this find command was searching for, i.e. failed for -type f and succeeded for -type d. Although pdf has NOT been changed, and although e.g. pdf sent via email and opened on MSWIN via Adobe Acrobat Reader is shown as "signature valid, doc unchanged". Means: QES-signed pdf looses it's trustability to recipients using also Okular.
