The gcc-ada build however, thinks that the target is x86_64-suse-linux-gnu, as can be seen from: /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/7/adainclude/s-oscons.ads: Target_Name : constant String := "x86_64-suse-linux-gnu"; In other words, there is a mismatch. This royally mucks up the building of gprbuild since the path is set to /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux, not /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux-gnu. This is the same with v10 & v11 compilers, on both x86_64 & aarch64, as well as 15.3 and tumbleweed. We cannot modify /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/7/adainclude/s-oscons.ads, since we would be required to rebuild the GNAT runtime library. Indeed, from /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/11/adainclude/s-oscons.ads, it states: -- This file is generated automatically, do not modify it by hand! Instead, -- make changes to s-oscons-tmplt.c and rebuild the GNAT runtime library. -- This is the version for x86_64-suse-linux-gnu While this may not be a big deal from folks used to c & c++, this is a massive problem for those wanting to use Ada, espacially where Ada software requires the gprbuild tools to be built.
