When I go to Yast and try to configure audio card, I get the following message: "An error occurred during the installation of Comet Lake PCH cAVS. The kernel module snd-soc-skl for sound support could not be loaded. This can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.". There is a blog with a guidance how to make it work on Arch Linux https://blog.fts.scot/2020/07/04/dell-xps-2020-how-to-get-audio-working-on-…. But trying to compile soundwire-dkms on OpenSUSE failed both on 5.3 and 5.8 kernels available in repos. Installing soundwire-dkms binary converted to rpm from deb from Ubunty repo also did not help. There is a firmware for this driver available (sof-firmware-1.5.1 https://www.reddit.com/r/Dell/comments/husu3r/how_to_get_fully_working_audi…), but without soundwire-dkms it will not work. Tumbleweed now builds ncurses using --with-pcre2 to use libpcre2-posix as a drop-in replacement for the standard API. Pacemaker inherits linking against the pcre2 library when built with this ncurses. However, code using pcre2 must include pcre2posix.h instead of regex.h (unless pcre2 has been installed as regex.h, which it has not in tumbleweed). Pacemaker includes regex.h, which defines various constants (e.g. REG_NOMATCH) differently from pcre2posix.h, wreaking havoc. If found a note in the Leap 15.3 release notes: https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/15.3/ 2.1 Seamless upgrade from openSUSE Leap 15.2 Unlike 15.2, the default installation of openSUSE Leap 15.3 contains the majority of rpms from SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. These rpms are signed by SUSE LLC instead of using the openSUSE key.... Looks like Leap 15.3 does not yet pay attention to the key import.
