It starts to work though if you select "Check for dictionary updates" in the settings menu. This downloads the dictionaries to ~/.local/share/kiten/, and it can load them fine afterwards: Loading edict from "/home/wolfi/.local/share/kiten/edict" Dictionary Loaded : "edict" Loading kanjidic from: "/home/wolfi/.local/share/kiten/kanjidic" Dictionary Loaded : "kanjidic" Dictionaries loaded!
