I am able to acquire a ticket and login on a apache webserver using Google-Chrome (if started with the option --auth-server-whitelist="*.itu.dk,*.itu.local") If have configured Firefox settings according to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Integrated_authentication with network.negotiate-auth.trusted-uris set to .itu.dk, .itu.local And network.negotiate-auth.allow-non-fqdn to true As these settings seem to do the magic on Firefox on windows. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. OpenSUSE leap 15.2 base install with KDE, Firefox and Google-Chrome 2. Konfigure Kerberos to be able to pull ticket from local AD (but no samba or SSSD AD integration) 3. Verify Kerberos - kinit, and using Chrome to access a website which is dependent on AD login 4. Using kinit verify that there is now ticket for above webaccess: klsl@raagi:~> klist | grep HTTP 08-12-2020 16:06:39 09-12-2020 01:50:55 HTTP/conquest.itu.dk@ Ticket server: HTTP/conquest.itu.dk(a)ITU.LOCAL 5. Clear ticket cache and acquire a new ticket by kdestroy followed by a new kinit 6. Try to access the site using Firefox 7. So I told you in Comment #4, the "issue" (not having any snapshot listed anywhere) was solved after the following commands: - `sudo rm -r /.snapshots` - `btrfs subvolume create /.snapshots`. Snapshot 221 is a read-only snapshot. In subvolume 171 the entry is missing. 171 is a read-wrtie subvolume that is or was the system. But why the fstab entry disappeared from fstab I cannot say. Maybe you have an idea what happened in the last two days. Maybe looking at the description of /mnt/(a)/.snapshots/221/info.xml helps. Ok, so just the usual story of: - netconfig trying extra hard to set the right hostname (other distros don't, so they're not affected) - We have a patched libxcb to honour $XAUTHLOCALHOSTNAME (other distros don't, most flatpaks neither) The most compatible upstream way is to use FamilyWild, which GDM and SDDM do, but apparently not lightdm.
