Running yast bootloader creates /boot/efi/EFI/opensuse/grubaa64.efi and adds an "opensuse" entry in efibootmgr, despite this being a removable SD card. This then leads to next boot still showing the old EFI/BOOT/bootaa64.efi GRUB2 menu. Removing that EFI/BOOT/bootaa64.efi, their EDK2 appears to hang: https://bugs.96boards.org/show_bug.cgi?id=741 Copying EFI/opensuse/grubaa64.efi as EFI/BOOT/bootaa64.efi restores boot. In any case the new rule must give the same result as the new one. You said that was possible with the sysfs attributes but if this cannot be fixed I'm afraid we must restore *both* the old udev rule and the SCSI emulation layer for NVMe device in the kernel. Compared to 42.x, this constitutes a package downgrade for everything where the version did not change. This is apparently confusing users (rightly so).
