If there is separated /boot it use this partition, if root is on logical, then it install to extended partition. If it is on logical volume like MD raid, then it install to all parts of raid. When trying to resume, would get to the same unresponsive state. Did rpm -e drm-kmp-default-4.9.33_k4.4.126_48-13.3.x86_64 This time hibernate started working, but again one time failed to suspend, reverted to locked display. Otherwise worked normally.
