The only option is a forced shutdown. Options which have frozen the system are; -Software Repositories -Hardware Information -Printer -Boot Loader -Kernel Settings -Partitioner -Snapper This is when running the GTK graphical version on Gnome 3.26.2. It also happened on one occasion using the non-graphical NCURSES/terminal version running in single-user mode when the Boot Loader option was selected. This has occurred on at least 3 laptops by different manufacturers (MSI, Acer, HP). I have attached the file generated by save_y2logs. At one time, it was there for kernels used by the old Tumbleweed project (before it was factory). I remember using it for opensuse 13.1. But I cannot find it anymore. The key in PEM form is fine. I can save that to a ".pem" file, then use "openssl" to convert to ".der" for installing with MokManager (or "mokutil"). I notice in the installer that it does not automatically partition my whole disk even if I ask it to delete all existing data - instead it wants to use only 100 GiB or so. I have to go in and resize the volumes to my liking manually. I would expect the installer to select and partition my whole hard drive if I'm overwriting all existing data there, but instead it only proposes to use a portion of it. Otherwise you might have incompatible packages installed. If that doesn't help, can somebody please provide a backtrace of the crash?
