Have a look at https://github.com/openSUSE/libstorage-ng/pull/523/files. E.g. in cs.po weblate places an empty string at the beginning of very msgstr. This is even after a zypper dup; reboot cycle. Once a day I find this prompt appears and stacks over multiple. However, gpk-prefs has *removed* the ability to disable automatic updates. First, there is *zero* documentation provided on how to provide my account with the required administrator privileges to allow update checks to work. Second, the fact I can not disable automatic update check prompts is quite frustrating. The thread speaks about successfull reboots after a very long zypper dup upgrade process though, but I am having important data on this machine and I am unsure if the dup process really goes through properly with all packages even when systemd is nonresponsive.
