I am using mixer to adjust the output volume of amarok. But moving the mousewheel increases the volume by 3 steps. Should be one step instead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. start amarok 2. open mixer to adjust volume 3. use mousewheel to adjust output volume. 4. should be one step, but is 3 steps (systemwide config) Actual Results: moving mousewheel causes the output volume change by 3 steps. Some source have a high volume output. When the source is opened the first time, the output sound pressure is to high. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Open sound source the first time e.g.: amarok, flashplayer, vlc 2. The volume control must be reduced to have a normal sound pressure level. [ To more information about how problem evolved, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCnQ0qz4my8 ] As identified, the power source could start and makes the system on, but with low tensions on 5V line (4,75V measured) and unstable 12V (floating with current request between 10,9V and 11,7V) - among others due the number of disks on the machine (4 hds and 2 DVD RW). The power source used had a 500W power source, not enough to the case (due some internal problem?). Power source changed to a better quality 650W real power source (greater also in physical dimensions), and all problems disappeared. So, that's it. pt: PROBLEMA RESOLVIDO. Infelizmente, ou infelizmente, a causa foi identificada como um problema de hardware quando os sintomas evoluíram para uma situação mais drástica. O culpado: a fonte de energia. [ Para maiores detalhes sobre como o problema evoluiu, veja: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCnQ0qz4my8 ] A fonte problemática era capaz de iniciar e manter o sistema ligado, mas fornecendo baixa tensão na linha de 5V (4,75V medido) e sustentando uma tensão instável na linha de 12V (que flutuava entre 10,9V e 11,7V de acordo com a corrente solicitada) - entre outros devido ao número de dispositivos instalados (4 hds e 2 DVD RW). A fonte antes usada tinha uma potência real de 500W, potência limítrofe ao exigido (devido a um problema interno?). Com a fonte de energia trocada por uma de 650W de melhor qualidade (maior inclusive em dimensões físicas), todos os problemas foram automaticamente resolvidos. Não precisou-se sequer reinstalar o sistema. Usei apenas o "touch /forcefsck" para forçar a conferência do sistema de arquivos na inicialização. Nenhum problema legado detectado. É isso.
