Maybe something went wrong. If the mo files however are included and look good I wonder what could be wrong then. So the workaround here is to install the xf86-input-synaptics driver after installation in addition. That means that sound card is not properly supported by the sound system of the distribution and is arguably out of the scope of the installer. Due to limited development resources, is very unlikely that we will implement something to cover such case during installation. YaST Sound after the installation should suffice.
