I can make it appear using alt+f2 but as soon as I write any letter it crashes. I have tested it with a new user and it does the same. However if I run a live image openSUSE-Plasma5.x86_64-5.2.90-Build2.13.iso this error doesn't appear. I would really want to avoid reinstalling the system: I was so happy that OpenSuse seemed like a stable and reliable system. Please help me debug this problem. In some cases, the "openSUSE Tumbleweed" distribution is shown as two distinct distributions, having a different version of the searched for package in each. The first is a normal distribution section on top, alongside "openSUSE 13.2", while the second is filed under "Unsupported distributions". EXAMPLES: gimp: Search results: official release 2.8.2 Actual package in repo: 2.8.14 Under "Unsupported distributions": no entry for "official release" smplayer: Search results: KDE:Extra 0.6.9+r3597 Actual package in repo: 14.9.0.6994 Under "Unsupported distributions": KDE:Extra 14.9.0.6994 kdeconnect-kde: Search results: none (no entry at all for Tumbleweed distro!) Since this is usually the result of a memory leak, I waited to catch the process at fault before the machine went unresponsive. The cause appears to be a root process called upowerd, part of the upower package. http://software.opensuse.org/package/upower The process rests at about 1.1 MB of memory usage, so the leak is sudden and extreme when it happens. As a workaround, I kill the process immediately after logging in, which doesn't appear to break anything. Since this is likely an issue with the application, I suggest either disabling upower or downgrading / upgrading the version offered in 13.2 to one that doesn't have the problem. openSUSE 13.1 appears to have version 0.9.23 of upower, whereas 13.2 has version 0.99.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Since then, most pages with flash crashed on call. Updates also to 33.1 from mozilla repo but same result. Try it with nightly (firefox-36.0a1.en-US) and nightly works without any problems on flash pages. Can't identify my problem directly but I think, this bug could be the reason.
