I can tell that we had many fixes in uefi/secureboot installation so the problem might disappear. For the kernel/dracut problem, it could also have been fixed. Please retest on 13.2 or factory/tumbleweed, and reopen if problem still there and attach yast or kernel logs. The original problem is hard to track download now. If you plug in a USB which has been configured as the working device in a degraded RAID1, then udev will run "mdadm -I devicename" and the array will be activated. This is not unlike the way a FAT filesystem will automatically be mounted. However, current systemd does no longer support starting long-running processes from inside a udev rules file, and kills usbmuxd as soon as the udev event has been handled. This can be fixed by adding a systemd unit file for usbmuxd which can then be activated by the udev rule. (I'm going to submit a fixed package soon, where I will refer to this bug report.)
