--- Comment #14 from Egbert Eich <eich(a)suse.com> ---
Please don't focus "Systemsettings/Display & monitor", this is desktop specific
and may be wrong. If the problem is there the ticket needs to be reassigned to
the respective desktop maintainer, neither Alex nor me can help you.
Let's focus on what we can gather from and set with xrandr.
- What's the color of the LED when the VGA is on and shows a picture?
- Yes, please also provide the 'xrandr --verbose' output when both monitors are
on.
- Any chance to get information on the state of the backlight when connected to
DP only? (It should be on when the LED is blue).

I will have a look but other reviews are scheduled more
important, next week is hackweek and then holiday season. So
this will only be handled in January, sorry :/

Bug ID: 956656
Summary: install /etc/wicked/extensions in /usr/lib
Classification: openSUSE
Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Version: 2015*
Hardware: Other
OS: Other
Status: NEW
Severity: Normal
Priority: P5 - None
Component: Network
Assignee: wicked-maintainers(a)suse.de
Reporter: lnussel(a)suse.com
QA Contact: qa-bugs(a)suse.de
Found By: ---
Blocker: ---
Wicked ships scripts in /etc/wicked/extensions that are clearly not config
files meant to be modfied by users. Those should be moved to /usr/lib/wicked
instead. A method similar to systemd's overlay system could be used to load
stuff from multiple locations.
A similar approach may also make sense for the xml files.

Reassigning to translations then. By the way, you should mention which language
you are using. It may be obvious to you, but I personally cannot recognize it
(I can hardly recognize 4 or 5 languages).
