I believe these errors are causing this problem:
https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/509011-Weird-Xorg-or-windowing-p….
It's best I reference the forum page because there's a graphic there along with
a write up that explains when it does and doesn't occur and what seems to be
affected and I don't see a place for a file upload here.
The full error is many of these:
radeon 0000:07:00.0: ffff880790c19000 pin failed:
[drm:radeon_crtc_page_flip] *ERROR* failed to pin new rbo buffer before flip
However I also get dozens of these warning:
(WW) EDID timing clock 241.50 exceeds claimed max 225MHz, fixing
which may be okay but may also be related.
My system is:
OpenSuSE 13.2 - all the updates.
Open source radeon driver R600
Graphics card: HD 5870 Eyefinity 6
This never used to be a problem and then after some update all the issues in
the link I gave started and this error was in my logs and as of yet I haven't
found a way to fix it.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. You would probably need my exact setup unfortunately.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
The errors and the weird display problems I mentioned in the link to the forum
page.
Expected Results:
No problems.
Let me know what you want to know.
