Obviously the /etc/init.d/kbd is not been called. cd/etc/init.d/ and here ./kbd start works. Tried this with PC (desktop) and laptop It seems to be a bug to me. No solutions in other forums. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.booting to kde login 2.Strg+Alt F2 3.now in tty2 4.no selected consolefont is to be seen. Actual Results: In /etc/sysconfig/console selected consolefont is in ttyX not to bee seen. Attempting to save the desired screenshot is obviously met with failure. The link to libvirtd cannot be reopened as long as the dialog window is open as it inhibits any further action. It must be closed in order to reestablish the TCP connection, but attempting to take the screenshot again yields in the same result: failire. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a TCP/SASL connection with virt-manager to libvirtd. 2. Pull up an already running VM (it must have its graphical console available). 3. Attempt to take a screenshot. Actual Results: At first virt-manager hangs, and as soon as it opens the "Save As..." dialog, the connection to libvirtd is terminated. No other action can be taken as long as the dialog window is open. Expected Results: Keep the connection to libvirtd open and allow the screenshot to be saved. And now the installation hangs - no more activity... The same procedure with an openSuSE 12.2 ISO connected to that guest works as expected. But the -C option of loadkeys only accepts one console at a time, therefore the script fails when loadkeys complains that the file "/dev/tty1 tty2 tty3 tty4..." can not be opened.
