This caused systemd to go zo emergency mode, but the error message (timeout mounting fs) did only apprear, when I removed the quite option from the grub2 entry. The other thing is, that the systemd showed the emergency mode entry message, but no login prompt showed up. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a mispelled enty in fstab 2. Reboot the sytem 3. Actual Results: Error message does not show up. Systemd shows message that emergency mode is entered. Login prompt does not appear Everythings repeaster after some time. This might be caused by "libtag-extras", which seems to be required to read meta-data from .aac files. I have libtag-extras installed (amarok is linked against it, so I expect something to happen there), but when running amarok in debug mode, there are a lot of errors when it tries to extract meta information from those files. "tagreader" (part of libtag) also doesn't show anything useful on those files. I compiled libtag-extras 1.0.1 and tried that, nothing useful happening. Then, after the right options are selected, another window will be open for the purpose of displaying the progress of the installation. The previous window will become mostly unneeded. It will only notify the user that the installation is finished. Perhaps the two windows should be merged together since they don't particularly perform different tasks at the same time.
