My computer is configured for separate xservers, nit twinview ot xinerama. When I try to open a program with the Run Program dialog on screen :0.1 the dialog opens on screen :0.0 and the requested program runs on screen :0.0 instead of :0.1. When I print a document with Evince in grayscale some weeks ago and now want to print a document in color, Evince remembers the last settings. So I always have to control, which setting actually is active. I use Evince with Xfce, the setting can reached with CTRL + P, Tab for Color and at the bottom "Print in Grayscale". Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Take a document with colors, control settings above for print in Colors, print it 2. Take a document without colors, change settings above for Grayscale, print it 3. IMHO ntp should restart after each network connection (i.e. after resume from suspend) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. reboot PC 2. 3. Actual Results: system time is wrong, ntp has to be restarted after every boot Expected Results: ntp restarts after network connection is settled Please see bug 774502 from comment 18 onwards. The problem is fixed in amavis 2.8.0 The recommended solution (in the blog post) is to upgrade to 2.8.0. Workarounds: a) do not block banned file extensions ($final_banned_destiny) b) modify $banned_filename_re to not block "exe" files This affects openSUSE <= 12.2 (which has amavis 2.7) and maybe also SLE. The problem seems to be related with a check for the running kernel and the boot loader in place - in my case elilo. The problem apparently is in /usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d.backup/99Zgrub which only knows grub. I modified the prepare_parameters function to include elilo and grub2-efi. In this case suspend hibernate works as expected. On my system the kernel files are in /boot/efi/efi/SuSE/ but there is also a folder /boot/grub2 and a symlink /boot/grub2-efi pointing to /boot/grub2. I'm clueless if this is necessary but it results in a usable system.
