YaST -> Virtualization -> Virtual Machine Manager 2. start localhost(xen) and then double click on an existing domU 3. press start (and then un-pause) and watch virtual machine boot 4. either wait 90 seconds or attempt to log in and use 5. virtual machine will be shut down Actual Results: After approximately 90 seconds the virtual machine disappears and this error is displayed in a pop-up window Error starting domain: POST operation failed: xend_post: error from xen daemon: (xend.err 'Device 0 (vif) could not be connected. Hotplug scripts not working.') Expected Results: Old domU virtual machines should work under openSUSE 13.1 as they did in 12.3 I have read http://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Xen_Common_Problems where it suggests that This problem is often caused by not having "xen-netback" driver loaded in dom0 kernel. "halt" Actual Results: The machine stops services, seems to unmount filesystems (I hear the disk heads park), but it does not actually power of the PSU.
