So: yes, timezone configuration works fine, and yes, I should be seing the root password screen but I am not. I just did a test, went back to timezone configuration, and then again forward and directly after the timezone dialog I get to teh root password dialog. All fine second time. Building for both 13.2 and Factory. @Johannes, can you take a look at the patches, and see is it ok for you to submit them to 13.2 & devel project? Patches are: hp-systray-make-menu-appear-in-sni-qt-indicator-with-kde.patch, hp-systray-make-menu-title-visible-in-sni-qt-indicator.patch and process-events-for-systray.patch.
