It should be removed. 2) The default mount options don't work for OpenSUSE and need to be overwritten in the config file like so: mount_default_fields: [~, ~, 'auto', 'defaults,nofail', '0', '2'] Reproducible: Always Actual Results: The auto mounting of /dev/vdb doesn't work. The kernel crash listed in the attached file happend two times. Both times a shell for a user of such an nfs mount was closed. The system can not be used after the bug is printed and a hard reset is necessary. Furthermore, the bug report is not written to disk (system message log). It did only survive due to the fact that the system kernel messages are send to another syslog server. I will watch if this happens again. Running /sbin/SuSEfirewall2 from the command line gives: SuSEfirewall2: Setting up rules from /etc/sysconfig/SuSEfirewall2 ... SuSEfirewall2: Error: too many arguments in FW_FORWARD_MASQ -> 0/0,192.168.100.137,udp,47976,47976,* SuSEfirewall2: Firewall rules successfully set By removing the last two arguments the problem goes away... FW_FORWARD_MASQ="0/0,192.168.100.137,udp,47976" Now running /sbin/SuSEfirewall2 the firewall starts successfully without errors and masquerading works. I have never manually edited the firewall configuration file before by hand and this is a clean install with no other software installed that should change it. The gnome:stable repo still has 3.8.3. It would be very helpful if gnome-stable was updated to gnome-shell 3.8.4 since it fixes this severe issue. Reasoning: In yast2-printer in the "Add New Printer Configuration" dialog there is a [Run hp-setup] button with a heading line that reads: "Alternative setup for HP printers:" This is there in any case regardless what autodetected printer model is currently selected by the user. Juergen Weigert noticed users who click [Run hp-setup] even for non-HP printers regardless of its heading line. In this case nothing goes actually wrong - hp-setup just does not do anything for non-HP printers. But it indicates that (some) users think when the [Run hp-setup] button is there, it makes sense even for non-HP printers regardless of its heading line.
