I've a Opensuse 12.1 Xen server, that's been working for quite a long while, that I've now upgraded to 12.2. The server's configured with ROOT "/" on LV-on-RAID1. After fixing a problem with the mkinitrd that was preventing booting !xen to the RAID (cref the aforementioned bug), that now seems to work. Unfortunately, booting to Xen kernel hangs; never completes. But after installation, after connecting to internet and going to YaST2 - Online update, in amount of packages were no Lithuanian packages installed. In YaST - Language module, Lithuanian is selected as default. After opening YaST Software management, Lithuanian packages also was not suggested to install. And in Language tab of "YaST Software management" there were selected only en_US language pattern (But I don't need english related packages, I not selected it while installation - I selected Lithuanian!). Only after marking "lt" pattern in YaST Software management "Language" tab, in /var/lib/zypp/RequestedLocales appears lt, Lithuanian packages were installed Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. On the first screen I've chosen Greek as language of the system. After the opening of my system, I saw that half was in English and half was in Greek. Activities, YaST and GNOME user menu were in English, date and program categories were in Greek. I guess this problem is with other languages too. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install using Greek as system language. 2. 3. Actual Results: The system has translated only the date and program categories. Everything else is in English. Expected Results: Everything to be in Greek I overcome this 2 ways. 1. I choose English during installation. After installation, I go to YaST and change the language to Greek (and secondary English). Then Log out and back in. Then I add a Greek Language from GNOME user menu. Log out and back in. 2. If I used Greek during installation, I go to YaST and change the language to English. Log out and back in. Then change the language to Greek from YaST. Log out and back in. I also add Greek from GNOME user menu. Log out and back in. I had the same problem since 12.1. The LVM system failed to boot; I eventually tracked that the fact that /boot/grub/menu.lst was listing (hd0) where it should have listed (hd0,0). Note that the menu.lst was correct when I was running 11.4. After I corrected the problem, I upgraded 12.1 to 12.2. To my chagrin, the problem reappeared. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create an LVM-based 12.1 system with /boot on /dev/sda1 and root on an LVM 2. Make sure it uses /boot/grub/menu.lst, not /boot/grub2/grub.cfg 3.
