This caused a complete desktop device failure after my zypper dup upgrade from 12.1 to 12.2 because sysvinit was still the default init system and the consolekit acl changes needed for things like sound and bluetooth no longer happen (because systemd now does them) so those services just end up being non functional. I upgraded to systemd (with zypper update systemd-sysvinit, which causes it to deinstall sysvinit) and everything is now working, but there should be some way of getting this to happen automatically on upgrade Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. I'd guess this is pretty serious for upgrade because it means everyone upgrading from 12.1 with sysvinit now finds their desktop is broken and doesn't know how to fix it. This is necessary since the ivtv driver is not power management aware. Failure to unload the driver will cause the driver completely fail when the computer is awaken A one line file (say "ivtv.config") containing the singe line SUSPEND_MODULES="ivtv" should be created and added in "/usr/lib/pm/config.d" Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Do a suspend/resume cycle Actual Results: The driver freezes after a suspend/resume cycle Expected Results: The driver works! This is most easily addressed as a packaging issue and not a problem with the core driver itself (which works just fine). The taskbar filter settings are [x] display only windows of the current screen [x] display only windows of the current desktop [ ] display only tasks of the current activity [ ] display only minimized windows Reproducer: Move a window of a non-KDE program (for example firefox) from screen 1 to screen 2. Expected result: the window is listed in the taskbar of screen 2 (where the window is). This worked until (IIRC) KDE 4.9.90 from Factory some weeks ago. Actual result: the window is still listed on the taskbar of screen 1.
