Some 2000 packages were to be upgraded, one of them grub 2. Installation of grub halted at 100%, so I decided to give it a Ctr-C, whereupon zypper complained that grub was unable to read from /dev/fd0. No surprise, since a floppy station is present, but no floppy in it. Install of grub being at 100% I chose Ignore, and the install of the rest went on OK. After that I could boot from that disk initially. After 3 times trying the disk (to me mysteriously) booted again, and has done so since. [Next] is still enabled. when i press it, an alert appears: "No system type was selected. Select the default type." it asks me to select the default type. really? why should i not select a non-default one? The problem is with v8 rather than nodejs itself, as I tested building the latest nodejs upstream tarball from source, and that works properly with a default configure/make/make install, but also fails when configured with --shared-v8 and linked against the libv8 from this repo. I upgrade the libv8 package to 3.14.1, and now everything works fine. (3.14.2 has since been released, and also works properly.) As they don't release tarballs, I did a git checkout of v8 and then ran 'svn co http://gyp.googlecode.com/svn/trunk build/gyp' as directed by build/README.txt, made a tarball of this and built it with your v8.spec. My tar.lzma is much bigger (57MB vs. 8.5), so perhaps some parts can be left out. Also, I had to disable the ARM hardfloat patch, as it no longer applies cleanly, and appears to have been integrated in a slightly modified form. I consider it severe because it prevents printers from working, while you can see and configure them, but you cannot print (usually I got some kind of errors like "missing file" or something regard missing filter and so on). While installing, I noticed an error, with the usual request "ignore,abort,continue" when installing the package ghostscript 9.05.04.1.2. I chose ignore it so that I supposed I will be able to fix using Yast. While looking at the installed software "ghostscript related" I find that ghostscript is not installed, while I have an older ghostscript_library. The detailed error I get from trying install ghostscript is: Subprocess failed.
