But tgt obsoletes iscsitarget so a zupper up removes iscsitarget and installs tgt. When choosing one of them using the mouse, the "Repository:" field below is not automatically prefilled with valid data. When I just use the keyboard to select the correct repo, everything is working. Unfortunately most users here do use the mouse... ;-) I am using 2.3 Beta2 here. It might be useful though to have a package group or filter to show the "Unneeded packages" left in the system for a user not inclined to clean up packages at every uninstall. For that user a button/menu item somewhere that goes "search for and weed out all unneeded installed packages" might be of great help. Retrieving: repoindex.xml [done] Unexpected exception. Parse error: repoindex.xml[1] Document is empty Please file a bug report about this. On the console zypper is unusable due to this error message, Yast (Qt-Version) can ignore this message and then I can noramlly install software. But at this point the computer do not have a direct connection to the internet, because of a proxy. The first synchronization should be after configurating the ntp server.
