Whether I type "reboot" or press Ctrl-Alt-Delete, the reboot process stops with: Sending all processes the term signal ... /etc/init.d/rc: line 339: 3010 killed $link start Master Resource COntrol: Running /etc/init.d/after.local Master Resource COntrol: runlevel 6 has been INIT: no more processes left in this runlevel. My CDPATH has been set to: :/home/dolsson:/home/dolsson/tmp:/home/dolsson/bin:/home/dolsson/sources:/home/dolsson/sources/ADMIN:/home/dolsson/sources/loke.local-net:/home/dolsson/sources/src:/home/dolsson/Documents in order to allow for an easy and fast access to my various directories using "cd" or "pushd". Now, when e.g. being in one of my development projects: $ pwd ~dolsson/.../branches/DBAG/packaging I want to get to my "Music" or "Documents" directory resp. their contents: $ cd M<tab> Makefile Hmmm, what about "cd Mu<tab>": $ cd Mu<tab> results in nothing -- not even with multiple <tab>s, nor does $ cd D<tab> work. Under openSUSE 11.3, I would have gotten $ cd Mu<tab> => cd Music/ resp. $ cd D<tab> => <nothing>, but $ cd D<tab><tab> => Desktop Documents Downloads Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. A freshly install openSUSE 11.4 2. Login as a normal (or root) user 3. Setup CDPATH, e.g. CDPATH=.:~:~/sources 4. Do: cd /tmp cd so<tab> -or- cd so<tab><tab> and observe that this is neither expanded to "sources/" nor is a list of choices presented (by double <tab>). Actual Results: $ cd so<tab> -or- $ cd so<tab><tab> results in nothing. But the partitioner refused to reformat an old ext4 partition, says always "Formating with ext4" or does not recognize the mountpoint. Subsequently, however, having added the optional software and running the YAST "Online Update" the ntfs drives are no longer mounted during boot. They are still listed,apparently, correctly in fstab and I could mount the drives manually using "mount" in a terminal I have changed the options, in fstab, to "default" but the drives are still not mounted during boot but can be mounted manually. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.On my system:- Fresh install of OpenSUSE 11.4 64-bit. 2.Install Non OSS from CD. 3.Run YAST "Online Update" Actual Results: NTFS drive which were previously mounted during booting are no longer mounted. This host (gx620 ) runs a single ICH7 SATA HD with Tumbleweed 2.6.39 and 12.1 3.0rc6, neither with systemd installed, and both are leaving all mounted EXT2 and EXT3 unclean on an apparently random boot basis, leaving neither hung-tasks.txt nor recjourn.txt. I counted 6 straight clean on 12.1, then one clean on TW, followed by two unclean (all except /) on TW, followed by clean on 12.1, followed by clean on TW. Dirty boots take a very long time, because one EXT2 partition hosting nothing but large iso files is 1,023,999,133 blocks. 3c5235c2-5cf6-44f6-9ffc-2aced0c7ae5e__www.smolts.org = pub_082e4ac5-1864-4397-9a2a-2001438d4aac from 11.4.
