Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Set up a user account on a nas 2.Create a a user folder on client machine to mount to 3.Try any means short of the work around to allow a user to mount it Actual Results: Impossible for user to mount the nas or server without running as root Expected Results: Account mounted One of the reasons samba.org produced this utility was for nas type use and or discless work stations. It is stand alone and gives much quicker access than samba. Currently samba and the kde network drive connect will not give read and write capabilities to the files on the server to many applications. Kwrite is the only one I have that is fully functional in this respect. The .desktop file incantations to allow some applications such as vlc to do this do not work and aren't appropriate to others such as the gimp. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.start eclipse 3.6(if started from bash, you can see the crash report message) 2.setup a new java project, and create a class with a main method 3.declare a variable in the main method, type it in the next line, and then a dote after it will catch the bug! Actual Results: eclipse exit, and java write an crash report in my home directory. Firefox 4 contains a js-ctypes implementation using an internal version of libffi. Some operations just fail when compiled with gcc 4.5 on openSUSE 11.3. (When compiled with 11.2 everything works.) It only fails for i586 but not x86-64. This fact suggests that the fault is in architecture specific code (like nptl/sysdeps/x86_64/pthreaddef.h) or in code that does not work well for x86_64. The The GNU C Library bug reporting instructions request to report bugs to vendors as they may change the shipped glibc code. I encountered this on OpenSUSE 11.3 x86_64 using 64bit code and glibc 2.11.2 that came with the distribution. More details appear below in shell output contained in the reproduction instructions.
