Login screen appears and after entering password, I am stuck indefinitely at the progress bar. Had to finally kill X and reboot from cl. Graphic card is nVidia 7300SE based. Situation is currently rectified after uninstalling 270.xx components and reinstalling legacy 173.xx Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install proprietary 270.xx drivers through Yast2 2. reboot... 3. Actual Results: After rebooting KDE4 failed to start. I was stuck at the progress bar. Expected Results: KDE4 should have started normally (Stefan, hi. Please give some pointers as to which log files to check for errors in order to squash this one... This is probably the main reason why the Dutch translation is so deficient. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install openSUSE 12.1 with full Dutch localization 2. install the extra available Dutch language packs with the software manager 3. reboot Actual Results: Very deficient Dutch localization (English everywhere) Expected Results: Full Dutch localization I did a relevant test: I copied the Dutch language pack from a Dutch Xubuntu installation and put it in /usr/share/locale-bundle in openSUSE 12.1. Then I rebooted. Instantly, most untranslated items were localized in Dutch! I'm an upstream Dutch translator of the Xfce project. Dutch translation of the Xfce packages has been completed six months ago. Many of those translations are not present in a fully Dutch localized openSUSE 12.1. Click on "New Item" or "New Menu" Actual Results: Nothing is seen when it is run in pure GUI. e.g. when ran from the start button. Install openSuSE 12.1 with Xen 2. Boot to Xen kernel 3. Log in to X and start virt-manager 4. Connect to Xen with virt-manager 5. Select option to Create new VM 6. Walk through steps to set up VM options (Name, CPU, Memory, disks, etc.) 7. Click OK to create 8. Error appears. Actual Results: "Failed to start the VM." Details - "Error: Unable to connect xend: Connection refused. Is xend running?"
