Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure pam_mount (e.g. when joining a windows domain). 2. Login with either a local account or domain account. 3. Logout, kdm doesn't restart. Actual Results: KDM doesn't restart, leaving the user on a virtual term. We need to issue a /etc/init.d/xdm restart as root in order to be able to graphically login again. Expected Results: pam_mount shouldn't crash. All the updates are applied. While the option is there and a file can be specified the installation itself does not seem to honor the XMl file at all unless the installation directory is completely unaltered. Even after having the package list modified by the autoinst.xml file properly if I then go in and change the installation directory at all it reverts to the previous package selection. Expected Results: Modifying the installation directory should not affect the package selection. When this time for one source repository goes above 2 hours, then >2:00:00 is shown. Nevertheless the total amount is still a sum of all packages (i.e. 2:13:12). It should be >2:00:00 as well, as you can't add explicit numbers to a ">xxx". BTW: I would increase the 2 hours to e.g. 4 hours, as network install with large bandwidth and even a normal large installation may exceed two hours and it is still interesting to see when it ends. I agree that for long times the approximation will be unreliable, but 2 hours is to short. Due to my - potentially - strange setup (I use a 32-bit Firefox on a 64-bit openSUSE-11.1 system), this resulted in Firefox not being able to access any https://... site anymore. Trying to replace the 64-bit version of mozilla-nss-certs with its 32-bit version will probably make Firefox work again, but I'm afraid, it will kill all the rest of the 64-bit applications which need the nss/ssl functionality. Unfortunately I cannot install the 32-bit version in parallel either: # rpm -ivh mozilla-nss-certs-3.12.4-4.1.i586.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%] package mozilla-nss-certs-3.12.4-4.1.i586 is already installed Extracting it manually using # rpm2cpio mozilla-nss-certs-3.12.4-4.1.i586.rpm | { cd /; cpio -idvm; } results in a fully functional Firefox again. The postfix smtp daemon therefore was reachable over the network by default. This update therefore resets the value to 'no' in /etc/sysconfig/mail. If you intentionally want postfix to listen for remote connection you need to manually set it to 'yes' again. I don't think that this is a good idea since it will also DOS several mailservers. OTOH, default installations should be protected by the default firewall settings. Please re-think the decision to change SMTPD_LISTEN_REMOTE. The default value of $ENV apparently changed somewhere between ksh-93s-114.1 (openSUSE 11.0) and ksh-93t-165.2.i586 (openSUSE 11.2). old default: $HOME/.kshrc ($HOME is not expanded) new default: $HOME/.kshrc ($HOME **is** expanded) At /etc/profile line 357, there's a check to see if $ENV matches the default value. If not, $HOME/.kshrc is read (if the file exists). However, the default value checked is no longer correct, and as a result the file is read twice. I would be nice if the alias would not be changed. This is especially annoying as you cannot change the alias via yast (as far as I know). I am not sure if this is actually a bug, or a in my opinion annoying but correct behaviour.
