This means that the notify messages sent to nfs servers contain the wrong hostname so any locks held by the client are not released. This seems to happen on about every other boot when parallel execution of init scripts is disabled. I clicked on O.K and the received an error stating it could not be loaded into resident RAM, however it sits in the system tray, with the resident option disabled. With the resident module disabled, I cannot see any justification for the applet to be present. The Open Office Quickstarter Applet has not functioned since X_64 was released in about version 10.2. I would suggest that it is either fixed or removed from the packing list. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.As Above 2. 3. Actual Results: Error Response - means that the Quick Starter will not load into resident RAM and is therefore useless Expected Results: It gets fixed or removed from X_64 Packing list. But in CUPS 1.3.10 the command results a "lpoptions: Unable to get PPD file for lj1220: Bad Request" error message but the command lpoptions -p <queue_name> -l still works. Setting "ServerAlias *" in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf does not help. It was working before that using OpenOffice doc files. The icon in the systray disappeared and is nowhere on the desktop although python /usr/bin/hp-systray is in the process table. I am using a Office-jet 6110 All-in-One. Most of the hp-(functions) are now broken with segfaults and blowup. When trying to fax, cups does not complain but the following message appeared in /var/log/messages related the fax failures Jun 19 15:43:51 lanya kernel: python[19728]: segfault at 6e54e25a ipb7cf5f5b sp bfd8431c error 4 in libc-2.8.so[b7c83000+13d000] My system is 100% installed and updated with Yast and has no broken dependencies that I am aware of. I tried to uninstall and reinstall hplip using Yast without success. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install hplip utilities, cups and OpenOffice 2. Try to fax using the cups print facility configured for the 6110 hp OfficeJet 3. Nothing happens when print is selected Actual Results: The information above should be enough to reprocuce the error.
