Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Turn on laptop 2. See grub prompt, could NOT select or type in anything Expected Results: The repair should work from install DVD In the end a I did a manual repair worked this is what I did Booted to prompt fron install DVD > grub > root (hd0,3) - filesystem is type reiserfs, partition type 0x83 > setup (hd0) - Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes - Checking if "/boot/grub/stage2" exists... yes - Running "embed /boot/grub/reiserfs_stage1_5 (hd0)" ...23 sectors are enabled - Running "install /boot/grub/stage1 (hd0) (hd0)1+23 p (hd0,3)/boot/grub/stage2 /boot/grub/menu.1st"... suceeded Done. > quit # reboot System booted ok. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Probably related to maintenance window but not sure about it. Probably it just was removed intentionally and then just close the report. This code will never be executed because the return value of the type() function is enum InfoType, not enum Marker :: Type.
