Manually enabling them in systemsettings worked fine, but I believe they should be turned on automagically when supported. Turn off computer. 3. Insert the battery. 4. The battery widget reports that no battery is present. Actual Results: The battery widget reports that no battery is present. It's a Dell 6400 laptop. In powerdevil cpu frequency scaling can't be changed, in fact it doesn't display any selectable option. I don't know if it's a kde bug or a distribution bug.
