The installer stops with an error "An error occured during initrd creation". /sbin/mkinitrd segfaults (see below). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start YaST2 installer 2. Create a 11 GB primary partition for /dev/sda1 (ext4) 3. Create an 1 GB primary partition for /dev/sda2 (swap) 4. This bug symptoms are very similar to bug 577140, but I see bnc #577140 fix in the xorg-x11-driver-video log. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the system and watch the screen 2. Boot the system and don't watch the cursor Actual Results: Mouse cursor is corrupted (gray square or no cursor at all. Display was corrupted during installation process (black horizontal stripes crossing the screen and that disappear after some time and then appear again. Expected Results: Display correctly. I have a K850i mobile that I would like to use as a 3G modem. The problem is it shows up as a wired connection (eth0)and especially under network-manager-netbook this is very confusing. When rebooting, grub speaks french, but has installed a french keyboard, not a belgian one.
