This issue is critical, as it breaks the kernel KMP update mechanism. (The current createrepo version is installed in both the external and internal opensuse build service, the first complains have come in.) Weak deps are a SUSE feature, so they are not supported in upstream createrepo. For me the "procedure" looks like this: 1. edit solution under linux 2. save 3. open solution under windows 4.
