But nfs startscript runs idmapd which needs nslcd to resolve user/group id's for nfs4 automounter maps. It seems that there is no service dependent on nslcd, but there should be some i think ... Error in the end is "Device /dev/md0 not handled". / [ filesystem ] /dev/mapper/system-root [ LVM ] /dev/mapper/cr_md0 [ LUKS ] /dev/md0 [ MD RAID ] /dev/sda2, /dev/sdb1, .. [ physical devices ] The way mkinitrd script are set up atm luks can only directly follow lvm. Therefore setup-luks plays a trick to support LVM in LUKS (fate 305633) which in the end leads to the error message above. This is a standard problem in C++. This behaviour occurs only in KDE and with the icon toolbar in emacs. According to the references below, it may have something to do with the gtk-qt engine and the icons of the toolbar. One possible remedy is setting "(tool-bar-mode -1)" in ~/.emacs. I apologize if I've assigned this to the wrong group; the problem involves both KDE and emacs.
