Thread 2: acquire pulsesink->mainloop via pa_threaded_mainloop_lock() Thread 1: try to acquire pulsesink->mainloop via pa_threaded_mainloop_lock() But it is held by Thread 2, so wait here. What firefox does is to start with a window that is larger than the screen resolution — and that is what should be changed. First of all I noticed that the commit message mentions "This default is improper as it increases the bootup time for machines that have multiple controllers". However, the code (still) causes all libata modules to be pulled in. So if I have multiple ATA controllers, it would be increasing the bootup time. Second, in recent versions of the kernel, CONFIG_ATA may have been changed from =m to =y[1], so that the test for "-L /sys/module/libata/holders/$procname" in setup-block.sh does not fire anymore, because holders will not be tracked when a piece of code is =y. It always uses /boot instead. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a directory (eg. /home/abcd/boot). 2. Copy the content of /boot into this directory (eg. cp -r /boot /home/abcd/boot). 3. Invoke mkinitrd with the "-b" parameter (eg. mkinitrd -b /home/abcd/boot) Actual Results: The appropriate initrd file is created inside /boot, not in the specified directory (eg. /home/abcd/boot). The same applies for the kernel image which is used from /boot.
