For usability reasons, I'd like to see it coming in the foreground. It's impossible to write anything to the flash drive. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Insert an USB flash disk 2. Try to copy/delete something to/from the flash disk 3. Impossible Actual Results: Nothing because there is no permission for the default user. Expected Results: File operations. The upshot of this is that for panel sizes under 27 pixels, the whole icon is not shown and it's not clear what it is supposed to be. For panel sizes much larger than that (I don't know if anyone does that but they can), it's tiny in comparison to the panel and its button. Quote Access Control Options Define the access control flags (restrict directive in /etc/ntp.conf) for this server, indicating which types of actions the remote host can perform on your NTP daemon. By default, it is set to notrap nomodify noquery. This option is only available if you have checked the Restrict NTP Service to Configured Servers Only option in Security Setting UnQuote Unless the available size of online help is restricted I think it more than prudent to discuss 'most' of the Access Control Options here. Particularly when the default options only apply to a public server so configured by the use of 'Restrict NTP Service to Configured Servers Only' being turned on. I am not suggesting a full page of every Access Control Options, however I feel we can do so much better here. I tried to create a new buildservice project by following the wiki steps for "Setup Initial Distributions". Got all the way to where I copied the sun jre-6u13-linux-i586.rpm and jdk-6u13-linux-i586.rpm into the /srv/obs/build/PROJECT/standard/i586/:full directory and restarted OBS. Builds that BuildRequire: jdk would error out with a getbinaries error (couldnt find jdk package) Renamed Sun RPMs to be standard naming scheme and restarted OBS and everything worked as expected. Seems to be a problem where OBS expects the rpm filename to follow normal standards and blows up if it doesnt. Now add a file with the same name: osc add file osc commit The file appears as a new file, but the "delete" line is still there. I've had to go and delete the job and builder files from /srv/obs/workers/ and /srv/obs/jobs/ manually to clear the 'building' state. Builders should send keepalive packets during a build, and frontend should detect when a builder drops off and re-assign its job to somebody who is still alive. I have not had a chance to test to see if graceful worker shutdown (eg. rcobsworker stop) does the same thing, but I suspect it may. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Bring up new worker 2. wait until worker starts a job 3. unplug machine Actual Results: frontend thinks worker is still working and that package gets stuck Expected Results: frontend detects that worker died and reassigns job. We are running into disk space problems keeping all of the old revisions around, especially since we run a continuous build service that uploads to OBS as soon as changes are checked into source control.
