("Ignore the crash page and reload.", "Reboot.", "Twice.", "Apply these 7 patches in exactly this sequence...") But /patch_updates can only display the name and summary of a patch, and there is no way to display details of a patch. Patches can also have notifications (or "licenses" which we have employed for similar purposes), so we should probably use those. But as mentioned in bug 559233 (no notification of missing repo keys), we ignore all signals from PackageKit except for Error and Done. That will probably need fixing. I do use dual monitors with the fglrx ati driver and randr is turned off but I doubt this should be a problem. When starting the machine in runlevel 3 the keyboard is functional. Running sax2 after logging in at run level 3 will result in the X server getting started by sax 2 to hang and both the keyboard and the trackpad are unusable. I also copied a xorg.conf file from an 11.1 install on a USB stick that works on the same laptop into place but that did not work either. Graphics device is: Intel 945 GM While this should work right after update it is possible to get he keyboard working again. In reported cases it appears that the keyboard will work in runlevel 3, thus the person upgrading is encouraged to change /etc/inittab to runlevel 3 such that the system boots in runlevel 3 after the upgrade.
