The bzflag server will not accept connections. Opened firewall UDP port 5154 and started server. Other clients on the LAN could not connect to it. Checked that port was listening using netstat. Tried connecting as client to bzflag server running on windows pc -- that works fine. Tried connecting from both windows and linux to this server -- no connection. Made sure that the firewall was working -- set apache to listen on port 8056 and configured the firewall to open that one, works when trying to connect from another system using that port but not with port 80, which shows that the firewall is working as expected. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install bzflag 2.0.12-1.39 on opensuse 11.1 x86_64 2. Open firewall UDP port 5154. 3. Try to setup a bzflag server and connect to it from another PC on the same LAN. Actual Results: Connection time-out. Expected Results: Connection. NOTE: The mp3 player is new, and I've tried it on other distributions and the payer worked perfectly. The crash is intermittent; it won't happen every single time Quick Find is used, but after browsing for a while it will happen eventually. I don't believe the crash to be content dependent. Immediately following a crash I can restart the browser, allow Firefox to reload the state of the browser, then use Quick Find on the page that caused the crash previously without reproducing the crash. The crash could possibly be related to openSuse's KDE4/Firefox integration. I suspect this because I ran Ubuntu Karmic on this system before installing the openSuse-11.2 release and did not experience any crashes related to Quick Find with Karmic's Firefox 3.5 / KDE4. I see a very high cpu usage in flash videos and flash applications in general (cpu is constantly around 60-70% usage for firefox, and 30% for xorg with the lastfm player sending some slideshow or youtube movies). The same laptop (a toshiba m400 with an intel 915 video card) with different operating systems (fedora, ubuntu) and flash 10 does not get noticed for high cpu usage. The problem happens both with and without hardware acceleration enabled in the flash plugin. The reasoning is that the zypp folks claim that "vendor stickiness" should be enough but it doesn't really help if the whole OBS is one single vendor. Personally I would prefer some "Smart" style where I am able to set different priorities for repositories __as well as packages__ but since this wont happen the only solution seems to be to enable different vendors per repository on OBS. E.g. simply use the repo names - home:bitshuffler for my own one or openSUSE:Factory or KDE:KDE4:Communtiy and so on. The reasoning is that I would like to be able to get packages for some application from a certain repository. The .desktop file references inkscape.png. This way the desktop icon theme has no way to override it. It was automatically mounted, and nautilus launched revealing the contents of the USB stick. I unmounted the device in Nautilus. Then I checked dmesg. It revealed that the device was sdb. However, /dev/sdb is now gone, after unmounting the device. How am I supposed to fdisk and format the device? Is this behavior intentional? I've found a workaround: Unmount from the command line, instead of Nautilus.
