I do: su cd /root rm -rf * ls and i see files! I try again: rm -rf * and again i see files. When i try deleted files apart - work. To delete files from /root i must run mc! This is bug or feature? Unfortunately there are two problems with this version on my system: - It does not print. When you select anything else but Print to File in the print dialog, the print button is grayed out; - The ProfileManager can not be started (I could live without it). Once openSUSE 11.2 is out I will upgrade, but until then I'll just stick with Firfox 2. I've tried 3.0 versions from the Mozilla Build Service before and they have all had these two problems. I started Firefox 3.0 from xterm and tried to print. Opensuse 11.x. When max_resvport is set to 2048, 5000, etc., we get the following messages in /var/log/messages - kernel: lockd_up: makesock failed, error=-13. Either right away or shortly after setting max_resvport to a higher number/rebooting with the parameter set in sysctl.conf, nfs mounts completely fail. If we leave it set to only 1023, we run up against the nfs mount limit, which puts us between a rock and a hard place. The crash appears to be topology issues with this new CPU and I think Andreas' new patches should help this. These patches are in Linus' tree for 2.6.32 and I would like to see them added into openSUSE 11.2. Reading the bug report again, the fact the s2ram/s2disk is failing after removing cifs module using "rmmod cifs" suggests that the failure has little/ nothing to do with cifs. After rmmod there will not be any cifs kernel threads (and s2ram/s2disk need not freeze the threads to accomplish suspend operation).
