This channel volumen has a range up to 100. 100 is reached on realplayers slider after ca one third its travel. I believe its range is falsely set to 256, or something. This is much the same behavior as BNC #309676, with the difference being that when running in a paravirtualized DomU, there is no ACPI support, so acpid fails to start: andrew@test-imsweb:~> sudo /etc/init.d/acpid start acpid: no ACPI support in kernel skipped I think this behavior may be a result of the patch introduced as a solution to #148384. For the LONGTMP-directory (presumably this could be /var/tmp), there is no such fine tuning possible, like e.g. "OWNER_TO_KEEP_IN_LONGTMP". However, this drawer is completely filled up on my computer, I cannot even summarily delete files as bash complains about a too long argument. Morever, there are some files in this drawer I don't want to be deleted, especially the KDE cache for my user ID (Favicons and so on). I would like to have some setting to selectively clean the LONGTMP, too. While all other mixer scroll bars in the "output" section of "kmix" have a green light which can be switched on and off, this is missing for the "IEC958-Playback" throttle. This channel therefore cannot be muted/unmuted and always reverts to "muted" when kmix (i.e. KDE) is started. "alsamixer", however, can flawlessly switch this channel on and off - unfortunately "kmix" will mute the digital output again the next time. Frequently, but with no apparent regularity, mails which have been put into the "trash" folder are given the date "07.02.2106". The correct date can be restored by once clicking on the message. This, among other problems, makes the "Expire" functionality worthless. No other folder than the "trash" folder is affected. Rebuilding the index doesn't help. (which is obviously right, as a document with this garbled path really doesn't exist).
