I would like to make the entire /var/ directory tree "temporary" (because I don't want to figure out exactly which files/dirs in /var need to be writeable), but specify exceptions to it that are read-only (because I want changes in these files to persist when I do updates). Example: <split> <temporary>  <file name="/var"/> </temporary> <read-only>  <file name="/var/lib/rpm/*"/> <file name="/var/lib/locatedb"/> </read-only> </split> Sorry if I'm being thick, but I don't see how I can achieve this so simply as Kiwi exists today. The notebook can be found by other devices and they can initiate bonding, but, to my knowledge this can not be initiated from the applet. All other WLANs works fine. Also if up works at the WLAN of the HAW-Hamburg fine. It seams the problem is at the ip configuration via DHCP.
